*haemorrhages on and in many organs

*fibrin strands on the [[Liver - Anatomy & Physiology|liver]] surface
===Microscopically===
*[[Liver - Anatomy & Physiology|liver]] cells very fatty (large single vacuoles), some degenerated and a few leukocytes
*moderate portal fibrosis
*heavily bile stained
