Congenital conditions of the udder
- MALFORMATIONS:
- Aplasia/hypoplasia of teats
- Non-canalisation/abnormal canalisation of teats (inversion, fistulae)
- Supernumerary teats
- PIGMENTATION:
- Melanosis is seen in gilts. Known colloquilly as 'seedycut'. This spontaneously dissapears during first lactogenesis.
