WikiVet is a non-profit making collaborative resource which aims to support and enhance veterinary education worldwide using web based technologies. It provides an innovative and dynamic framework integrating an expanding veterinary encyclopaedia with related learning materials. WikiVet aims to become the most respected online educational resource for the international veterinary community.

Guiding Principles

WikiVet:

  • is an online educational resource for the veterinary community;
  • is a wiki which enables a community of veterinary users to create, edit and review its content;
  • offers free registration which is limited to the veterinary community;
  • licences all of its content under a Creative Commons licence;
  • strives to provide the highest quality and peer reviewed content;
