This localization enables an easy reach of patients and other biological materials, necessary for an adequate organization of the didactic process. Moreover, the localization of the Faculty within the city is an advantage for students and has allowed good integration and better organization of the didactic process. At present Faculty in Lublin is one of 4 Faculties of Veterinary Medicine in Poland.
History
Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Lublin (www.weterynaria.up.lublin.pl) was established in 1944 as one of the faculties belonging to University of Maria Skłodowska-Curie. It was located within the university campus together with other faculties, the main library, cultural centre and student houses. In the meantime, the structure of faculty was reorganized and finally, in 1995, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine became one of the Faculties at the Agricultural University in Lublin which lately was renamed to University of Life Sciences.
