Horn affections in animals include avulsions, fractures, debudding and dehorning procedures. In modern times, polled animals are selectes and horned animals are debudded or dehorned to help in managemental practices as it is easy to handle and manage polled and hornless animals. They also require less space in housing and transport along with many other benefits.
