| The faculty offers various courses in different disciplines of veterinary & animal science and to conduct research on all aspects of production and veterinary sciences particularly associated with the arid regions of the Punjab. The faculty is comprised of five departments viz., Department of Veterinary Biomedical Sciences (comprising Sections of Anatomy and Histology, Physiology, Pharmacology),Department of Pathobiology (Microbiology , Parasitology , Pathology), Department of Clinical Studies (Medicine, Surgery and Radiology, Theriogenology), Department of Poultry Science, Department of Livestock Production and Management (Livestock Management, Animal Nutrition, Animal Breeding & Genetics) were established at FV&AS.FV&AS offered five years Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree program and M.Phil & Ph.D degree in Poultry Science.
