Professional Biography
Penelope Morris is the manager of the Nutrition & Metabolism research portfolio at the WALTHAM Centre for Pet Nutrition. After graduating from Aberdeen University in 1997 with a degree in Biomedical Science, she went on to obtain a PhD in Nutritional Physiology. Penelope joined WALTHAM following several postdoctoral positions at the Centre for Obesity Research, Luton and the Clinical Research Centre, Cambridge initially as a senior research scientist and subsequently as a research manager.
She has contributed to over 40 original research articles on aspects of canine and feline nutrition with a particular emphasis on energy and nutrient requirement.
