Immunology
The word immunity is derived from the Lain word “immunis” meaning exempt. It is the balanced state of having adequate biological defenses to fight infection, disease, or other unwanted biological invasion, while having adequate tolerance to avoid inflammation, allergy, and autoimmune diseases.
