The genus Corallus (subfamily Boinae, family Boidae) are arboreal boas distributed in South America and contains three species - annulated tree boa (C. annulatus), emerald tree boa (C. caninus) and Amazon tree boa (C. enydris). They have large heat-sensitive pits in the labial and rostral scales.
