  • Serous fluids are formed due to mild vascular injury in an organ or in vessels underlying a

surface.

  • The fluid is clear to cloudy fluid.
    • Little protein is present.
  • Examples:

    • Vesicles of the skin.
    • Many inflammations in joints.
