Kingsnakes are common pet snakes of the genus Lampropeltis (subfamily Colubrinae, family [[Colubridae]]). They include scarlet kingsnakes (''L. triangulum elapsoides''), grey- banded kingsnakes (''L. alterna''), Californian kingsnakes (''L. getulus californae'') and Florida kingsnakes (''L. getulus floridana''). The common kingsnake (''L. getulus'') has a wide range of North America and is terrestrial. Their POTZ is 23-30° with a humidity of 50-70%.
