Intra-Oral Radiography
This section is part of Small Animal Dentistry and Oral Examination

Intra-oral dental radiographs are essential to evaluate the whole tooth. Much pathology is missed without their use, and in certain cases, pathology can also be identified. The full extent of visual pathologies cannot be assessed completely without the use of radiographs.
Intra-oral dental radiographs help establish a diagnosis, treatment plan, assess the adequacy of treatment and are useful for long term monitoring.
