Is the morphology normal, and, if not, why?	The morphology is normal. The neutrophil is a granulocyte, and eosinophilic cytoplasmic granules are normally visible on smears. Neutrophils need to be differentiated from eosinophils, which in the rabbit are bigger cells, with larger round eosinophilic granules. These may obscure the cell nucleus. In the majority of cases, neutrophils will be the most numerous granulocytic cell in a rabbit blood smear.		Link to Article
