Hyperlipidaemia - Horse

Description

Hyperlipidaemia is common in horses and ponies as the result of restricted calorie intake or excessive excercise. It is usually easily corrected by feeding a normal meal. It should not be confused with hyperlipemia which is a more serious condition which usually affects ponies and donkies.
