Persistent Meckel's Diverticulum

Description

Meckel's diverticulum is a congenital abnormality due to the persistance a remnant of the omphalomesenteric duct of the yolk sac.

  • Is usually an incidental finding though it can be associated with impaction and/or intussusception.
