Clinical Signs

usually result from food/fluid impaction in the sacculated area and can present as:

  • regurgitation
  • odynophagia
  • retching
  • postprandial dyspnoea
  • anorexia
  • sepsis if the diverticulum becomes perforated
  • may be subclinical if small
