  • Tasks:
    • Summer students:
      • Choose one or more systems and enter content drawn from the lectures + lecture notes held at your institution, together with copies sent from the other institutions.
      • Make choices evident in the discussion forum area and highlight edited pages through the forum for everyone to discuss and comment on, etc.
      • Add as many images, videos, etc as possible linked from the area
      • Trawl through the CLIVE resources for the area and upload/link to them from the wiki
      • Make concept maps for that subject area (see below)
  • Outline of headings
    • Use the headings from the new Thompson's veterinary pathology textbook, eg: Cambridge Pathology
    • New pages follow the format set up there
  • Formatting templates
    • Use the in built templates and when in doubt, use the mediawiki guidelines eg: for images.
  • Mind maps and concept maps
    • CMaps server
      • CMaps and an example
      • Use the software to make a concept map of the area that you are working on at the beginnning of that section's work, and then once you have finished putting that section together. Use it to link back to the wiki sections as appropriate, and insert a link into the wiki that takes you to it.
  • Areas to set up in the wiki:
    • Mindmaps and concept maps
      • Alphabetical or systems based list of maps that directly link into the wiki
    • Case studies
      • List of cases that link back and from the relevant areas of the wiki
    • Pathologist anecdotes
      • Videos of bearded pathologists and their pathology-related tales linked back to/from the wiki
  • Use my notes to add extra content - how well does that work for 'bolting on' further information to the skeleton.
