You should add information for each section by clicking on the 'edit' button that corresponds to the section. You should write below the line in the edit screen.

When you think you have added all the information you can, contact the WikiVet Team again and they will put this information into the template. At this stage they will put the pin on the map so others can see your school

If you would like to see an example of a completed Vet School page, have a look at the Royal Veterinary College's page for an idea of what you should write about.

Introduction

The Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree will be awarded upon successful completion of the Pre-Clinical and Clinical curricula. The Veterinary Pre-Clinical curriculum, taken at AUA, consists presently of five 16 week semesters. Two additional semesters are under study, to bring the AUA DVM Pre-Clinical course of study to seven semesters of 143 credit hours.

Clinical training will take place in one of a number of AVMA-accredited institutions, both in the United States and Abroad (*see note below). After taking four semesters of study, a small number of Antigua veterinary students may transfer into the fourth semester of a US college of veterinary medicine upon satisfactory completion of requirements of the institution. One example of this is between AUA CVMBS and the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Other students will continue pre-clinical study at Antigua for five semesters before transferring into the clinical program of an institution in the US, Australia or Great Britain. The DVM degree will then be conferred by the institution providing the clinical training.

Other agreements are pending.
