Erycinae, the dwarf boas, is a subfamily of Boidae. They are small fossorial or semi-fossorial snakes with typical adaptations such as cylindrical bodies and smooth scales. Genera (several monotypic) are Charina bottae (rubber boa), Eryx spp. (ten species of sand boas), Exiloboa placata (Oaxacan dwarf boa), Lichanura trivirgata (rosy boas), Tropidophis spp. (15 species of dwarf boas), Ungaliophis spp. (2 species of banana boas)
