Sickness behaviour includes lethargy, depression, anorexia, energy conservation, anhedonia, cognitive impairment, hyperalgesia, decreased social interaction and anxiety. It is therefore important to be aware of this relationship between inflammation and behaviour that can contribute to signs commonly associated with emotional disorder.
