Antigenicity

Pathogenesis

  • Infects small intestine epithelium
  • Followed by viremia and neural infection

Clinical signs:

  • Tremors
  • Incoordination
  • Convulsions
  • Death

Epidemiology

  • Transfer is orofecal

Diagnosis

  • NOTIFIABLE disease, though rare in UK
  • Vaccination in EU
