  • Primary trabeculae do not transform into secondary and tertiary
  • Continue to elongate
  • Form a dense band beneath growth plate - growth retardation lattice
  • Dense spikules apparent on radiographs
  • Can be caused by Distemper Virus, Bovine Viral Diarrhoea Virus
