- Benign neoplasm of hyaline cartilage
- Rare in animals
- Affects dogs, cats, cattle and sheep
- Grossly:
- Slow growing and expansile with smooth border
- Roughly spherical masses
- In flat bones and ribs
- Histologically:
- Lobules of well defined hyaline cartilage
- Devided and encapsulated by fibrous tissue
- May undergo endochondral ossification
