- Reduced mucosal thickness.
- Loss of rugae.
- Histologically
- Mucosal thinning.
- Loss of gastric glands.
- Diffuse inflammatory infiltrate of lymphocytes and plasma cells.
- Fewer eosinophils in lamina propria.
