Necrobacillosis – Rabbit

Also known as: Schmorl's disease

Infection with Fusobacterium necrophorum.

Lesions appear as necrotic areas over the body. Affected animals are usually ill enough to become emaciated. Diagnosis is by microbiological identification of the organism and treatment is unrewarding.
