We have recently recruited 12 summer student and graduate authors from the Royal Veterinary College, Bristol, Edinburgh and Cambridge Vet Schools. They will be improving and increasing the content on WikiVet, with particular work on the bugs and clinical sections. We held a training workshop at RVC on Monday 5th July, and WikiVet has been a flurry of activity ever since! It was a great opportunity for students and graduates from each of the four participating veterinary schools to get together and exchange tales of their veterinary studies.

We are really excited about the developments that this year's team of authors will bring to the site. The nature of WikiVet as a constantly evolving site means that there are always pages under construction. If you have been searching for information and been disappointed, please try again as new material is being added daily. We are also making huge improvements to our search facility, which should help you find the information you need more quickly.

As we are always keen to find out what our users want and need most from the site, we took the opportunity at the training workshop to conduct focus group sessions. This is part of an ongoing process to ensure that the site develops with the users in mind. Feedback on the site or contributions to content will always be welcomed, and recent comments on the donkey section have been very encouraging. Development is constantly ongoing and we will be announcing the completion of exciting new sections shortly!
