Tanta University resolution was released on 29- 5-1985 about constructing Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Kafrelsheikh. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Abdlelaziz Mohammed; head of Pharmacology department was appointed as a supervisor on the process of constructing the faculty.
* The process of construction was in an auction on 17- 1- 1987. While initiating the execution process started on 1- 8- 1988
* The study started in the faculty during the year 1991- 1992, with only the first grade (cooardination of secondary stage) and the second grade (transformed from other universities), based on the resolution of the university council on 25- 7- 1991.
