About The Faculty:

* Tanta University resolution was released on 29- 5-1985 about constructing Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Kafrelsheikh. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Abdlelaziz Mohammed; head of Pharmacology department was appointed as a supervisor on the process of constructing the faculty.

* The process of construction was in an auction on 17- 1- 1987. While initiating the execution process started on 1- 8- 1988

* The study started in the faculty during the year 1991- 1992, with only the first grade (cooardination of secondary stage) and the second grade (transformed from other universities), based on the resolution of the university council on 25- 7- 1991.

* The university president released a resolution in January 1991, that states appointing prof. Dr. Mustafa Abdleraziq Mohammed as a dean for the faculty who resumed his position until the age of 60 years on 23- 7- 1995.

o        Assessing the super medical service within the different instructional hospitals belonging to the faculty whether in surgery, delivery, abdominal, infectious, poultry and fish sections

o        Continuous care of improving environment within the faculty.

o        Continuous awareness to the citizens about the different ways of prevention in sudden diseases such as  FMD, and Flu

o        Providing different levels courses in computer and all the supplies related to veterinary medicine to increase knowledge and awareness of workers in the veterinary sector.

·          Poultry and fish analysis labs
