*Subepidermal vesicles and bullae
*Antibodies bound to basement membrane
*Grossly:

*Microscopically:
**Bullae containing fibrin, neutrophils or eosinophils
**Basement membrane forms floor of bullae and roof is lined with basal cells
*Bullae may rupture -> ulcers
