- A benign solitary smooth muscle tumour, forming nodular masses.
- Found mainly in dogs.
- Often seen as incidental findings at necropsy of older dogs.
- Can occur in any site in the stomach.
- If a leiomyoma occurs near the pylorus, an obstructive lesion may be created causing clinical disease.
