Traumatic lesions:
- Physical trauma to the abdomen is very common
- Sequelae:
- Peritonitis if infection is introduced from the external environment or through ruptured gut
- Haemorrhage due to splenic or hepatic rupture or damage to a blood vessel
- Uroabdomen due to rupture of the urinary tract
- Dysfunction of organs
- Diaphragmatic Rupture
