Primarily, this site is aimed at veterinary students and nurses. It contains a wealth of information and learning resources. There are currently 5,936 articles and 74,158 registered users. Content can be reached via the various navigation routes above: System, Discipline or Species. The learning resources route excludes any general text content. If you know what you are looking for, you can use the search function.

WikiVet^TM launches it's new photo competition - WikiPets!

During the month of June 2012 WikiVet^TM fans are being invited to take photos of their pets with WikiVet^TM somewhere in the background. You should then send in the picture, along with your pet's name, likes and dislikes to competition@wikivet.net. Entries will be posted onto our Facebook page, the entry with the most votes will win a £50 Amazon voucher! See more details on the photo competition page.

What is your diagnosis?

A six-year-old, castrated male Yorkshire Terrier is presented with a 2-year history of coughing. Today the dog is coughing almost constantly. He has cyanotic mucous membranes and markedly increased inspiratory effort. Radiographs had been taken at a previous visit.
