Describe how the vaccination is administered and onset of immunity. | The vaccine is a recombinant attenuated myxoma vector virus which contains the RHD VP60 capsid gene such that a single vaccine immunises against the two diseases (169). The vaccine is administered subcutaneously and provides immunity for 1 year. Full onset of immunity takes 3 weeks to develop.
