* Drugs:
 
** Metilxantine
 
** Procainamide
 
 
 
===Acquired===
 
 
 
* Acquired myotonia may be caused by:
 
** Herbicides
 
*** For example, (2,4-D) and dicamba.
 
** [[Hyperadrenocorticoidism ]]
 
*** This may be natural (i.e. increased endogenous steroid production), or iatrogenic (i.e. prolonged corticosteroid administration).
