Traumatic lesions

  • Physical trauma to the abdomen is very common
  • Sequele:
    • Peritonitis if infection is introduced from the external environment or through ruptured gut
    • Haemorrhage
    • Ureamia
    • Dysfunction of organs
    • Aquired hernias
