Testes under the influence of FSH and LH.
Leydig cells produce Testosterone and Androstenedione under the influence of LH.
- Provide secondary sex characteristics:
  - Coloration
  - Song during courtship
  - Comb growth.
  - Plumage and Bill colour
- Testosterone increases spermatogenesis and growth of accessory reproductive organs.
FSH initiates growth of semniferous tubules and results in increased spermatogenesis.
