OVAM Student e-Curator Workshop We ran a workshop for the students that will work on the OVAM project with us. They came from all over the UK as well as some other European countries bringing a fresh perspective into the project. The two days were packed with ideas and suggestions as well as some social events. If you are wondering what it is they are holding in their hands in the photos, read below! WikiVetTM launches it's first photo competition! WikiVetTM has launched it's first photo competition - Where's WikiVetTM? Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to take a photo of our 'Where's WikiVetTM' logo somewhere exciting in the world - hopefully somewhere iconic so we know where you are! Entries will be posted on our Facebook page where you can vote for the winner, who will win a £50 Amazon voucher. Teaser What is the most likely cause of this posture? A 7-year-old male neutered DSH is presented because it has an abnormal gait (walking with the hocks touching the ground) and posture. There is no history of trauma and the owner believes that these abnormalities have developed over the last few weeks. On further questioning, the owner reveals that the cat has been losing weight for the last 2 months, during which time it has also been noticeably polydipsic and polyuric. Test yourself here.
