Revision as of 17:45, 9 December 2010 by Bara (talk | contribs) (moved Angiotensin Converting Enzyme (ACE) - Renal Anatomy & Physiology to Angiotensin Converting Enzyme (ACE) - Anatomy & Physiology)
- Membrane bound metalloproteinase
- Converts Angiotensin 1 to Angiotensin 2
- Very important in the Renin Angiotensin Aldosterone System (RAAS)
- Predominantly expressed on epithelial cell membranes in the pulmonary ciculation
- The site of action of the group of drugs - ACE inhibitors
