Corynebacterium ovis is a species of the Corynebacterium genus. It causes chronic disease in sheep and goats, called Caseous lymphadenitis (CLA), characterized by caseous abscesses of peripheral lymph nodes and visceral organs. CLA is generally more severe in goats.
