The mare to be teased can be presented to him individually behind a teaser board so she cannot move away; injury to mare, stallion or handlers is less likely.

| How do you interpret the teasing results shown? | This mare appears to be showing very good oestrous behaviour: she stands still with the stallion, leans her hindquarters to the stallion and is urinating. However, there are enormous individual differences between mares.
