Lizard Long Bone Fractures

Fractures are not uncommon and are generally associated with Metabolic Bone Disease (MBD) but may occur traumatically. The most obvious clinical sign is lameness.

Treatment:

  • If associated with MBD, treat the underlying MBD
  • Splints are also an option
