Recommend content - News
It is now even easier to share WikiVet content that you think friends and colleagues will find valuable, because the WikiVet team have started adding Facebook 'recommend' links, Twitter 'tweet' links and Google '+1' links on all of the pages that are open to the general public. See why more content is becoming open in the news story.
If you look at the bottom-right of this page you will see these links.
Facebook's 'recommend' button
If you click on this (and you're logged in to Facebook), a link to this page will appear on your facebook profile as a status update - you'll be prompted to comment on the link. If you're not logged in to Facebook you'll be prompted to log in first, then the link to the page will appear on your profile. Read about the recommend button on Facebook.
Twitter's 'tweet' button
If you click on this (and you're logged in to Twitter), a tweet will be composed including a link to this page.
Google's '+1' button
If you click on the +1 button, this will do a variety of things. When your Google contacts search for content and this page is brought up in the search results, they will be able to see that you have '+1'ed this page. This therefore acts as a personal recommendation that this is a good page. By clicking '+1' it also helps people browsing through WikiVet gain an appreciation of what pages are visited often and which are considered of a higher standard. Read about the +1 button on Google's page.
