Primary tumours

  • Rare
  • May arise from chest wall and mediastinum

Mesothelioma

  • Has been found in cat, dog, cow, goat and horse
  • Arise from pericardial, pleural and peritoneal surfaces
  • May be related to inhalation of asbestos
  • Grossly:
