Introduction
Fly worry can cause problems around eyes, lips, nostrils and genital areas. Horse and stable flies will multiply in manure, rotting foodstuffs, etc.
Control
- Stable hygiene, proper and thorough disposal of muck and siting of muck heaps are all important in reducing these pests
- Fly veils, masks and bonnets can be used
Diagnosis and treatment
The same as that for the horse.
