Do not confuse with: Hyperlipaemia

Description

Hyperlipidaemia is common in horses and ponies as the result of restricted calorie intake or excessive exercise. It is usually easily corrected by feeding a normal meal. It should not be confused with hyperlipaemia which is a more serious condition which usually affects ponies and donkeys.
