In dogs, B.bronchiseptica causes Canine Infectious Tracheobronchitis, also known as Kennel cough.
In pigs, B.bronchiseptica causes Atrophic Rhinitis.
In rabbits, B.bronchiseptica causes Snuffles.
B.brochiseptica is closely related to B. pertussis, an obligate human pathogen.
