  • Unknown aetiology
  • Inherited defects
  • Low levels of circulating IgM and IgG
  • Impaired neutrophil function
  • Causes recurrent pyrexia and infections
    • E.g. Rhinitis and bronchopneumonia in Irish Wolfhounds due to low [[Immunoglobulin A|IgA]]
    • E.g. Pneumocytosis in Miniature Dachshunds due to low IgG
